The sister company to Allied Oil Equipment, Bassco Services represented the field technicians, custom jobs, and refurbished refueling equipment side of business. Allied sold the parts, and Bassco installed them. In keeping with the expansion of the company, they developed a nationwide network of technicians that could respond on-site to fix fueling equipment and vehicles at airports, military bases, and private runways.
With all of this new exposure, their refurbished equipment became quite popular with many customers as a way to save huge money on operational equipment. While Allied was an ambitious web store, Bassco merely needed more exposure and an easy to navigate site to go with it.
The refurbished equipment wasn’t well known until we created the new website. By using WooCommerce again, and a few plugins to disable shopping cart and pricing functionality, we created a simple to use interface for the vice president and sales manager to administer the equipment shown on the website. Within months their equipment was selling like hotcakes, with new customers ready to buy equipment that hadn’t even been finished yet! Existing customers would regularly bookmark the shop and keep an eye out for their next great deal.
